Prospects for Constraining Interacting Dark Energy Models with 21 cm Intensity Mapping Experiments

چکیده

We forecast constraints on cosmological parameters in the interacting dark energy models using mock data generated for neutral hydrogen intensity mapping (IM) experiments. In this work, we only consider with transfer rate $Q=\beta H\rho_{\rm c}$, and take BINGO, FAST, SKA1-MID, Tianlai as typical examples of 21 cm IM find that cylinder array will play an important role constraining model. Assuming perfect foreground removal calibration, Tianlai-alone data, obtain $\sigma(H_0)=0.19$ km s$^{-1}$ Mpc$^{-1}$, $\sigma(\Omega_{\rm m})=0.0033$ $\sigma(\sigma_8)=0.0033$ I$\Lambda$CDM model, which are much better than results Planck+optical BAO (i.e. optical galaxy surveys). However, cannot provide a very tight constraint coupling parameter $\beta$ compared BAO, while Planck+Tianlai can give rather $\sigma(\beta)=0.00023$ due to degeneracies being well broken by combination. I$w$CDM $\sigma(\beta)=0.00079$ $\sigma(w)=0.013$ from Planck+Tianlai. addition, also make detailed comparison among models. show future experiments useful tool exploring nature significant measuring between matter.

Constraining dark matter through 21 cm observations

Beyond reionization epoch cosmic hydrogen is neutral and can be directly observed through its 21 cm line signal. If dark matter (DM) decays or annihilates the corresponding energy input affects the hydrogen kinetic temperature and ionized fraction, and contributes to the Lyα background. The changes induced by these processes on the 21 cm signal can then be used to constrain the proposed DM cand...

Prospects in Constraining the Dark Energy Potential

We generalize to non-flat geometries the formalism of Simon et al. (2005) to reconstruct the dark energy potential. This formalismmakes use of quantities similar to the Horizon-flow parameters in inflation, can, in principle, be made non-parametric and is general enough to be applied outside the simple, single scalar field quintessence. Since presently available and forthcoming data do not allo...

Constraining Born-Infeld models of dark energy with CMB anisotropies

We study the CMB constraints on two Dark Energy models described by scalar fields with different Lagrangians, namely a Klein-Gordon and a Born-Infeld field. The speed of sound of field fluctuations are different in these two theories, and therefore the predictions for CMB and structure formation are different. Employing the WMAP data on CMB, we make a likelihood analysis on a grid of theoretica...

Constraining dark energy with gamma - ray bursts

We use the cosmology-independent gamma-ray burst (GRB) distances of Wang (2008) to constrain dark energy cosmological model parameters. Current GRB data alone can not tightly constrain cosmological parameters and allow for a wide range of dark energy models. When used jointly with current Type Ia supernovae data and baryon acoustic peak measurements, the GRB data favor slightly lower values of ...

Intensity Mapping with Carbon Monoxide Emission Lines and the Redshifted 21 Cm Line

We quantify the prospects for using emission lines from rotational transitions of the CO molecule to perform an ‘intensity mapping’ observation at high redshift during the Epoch of Reionization (EoR). The aim of CO intensity mapping is to observe the combined CO emission from many unresolved galaxies, to measure the spatial fluctuations in this emission, and use this as a tracer of large scale ...
